Cathy Gail (Lowe) Strode

On Friday, November 20, 2020, Cathy Gail Strode passed away at her home in Corydon at the age of 56. She was born June 6, 1964 to parents, Jack Sr & Linda (McAdams) Lowe. Cathy will be forever remembered by her husband & best friend of 38 years, Dale, and their children, Chris (Michell), Cory (Melanie) and her two granddaughters, Mailey and Chloe who she adored with all her heart. She graduated from Corydon Central High School in 1982 and worked as secretary for Striegel’s Asphalt for the last 25 years. She looked forward to, and loved vacationing in Navarre Beach, Florida every year with her family.

Husband- Dale Strode of Corydon

Sons: Chris Strode (Michell) of Louisville & Cory Strode (Melanie) of Depauw

Granddaughters: Mailey and Chloe Strode of Louisville

Mother: Linda Lowe of Haubstadt

Siblings: Mark Lowe (Mallory) Evansville, Eric Lowe (Dee) of New Harmony, Sandra Deal (Travas) Woodland Park, CO, Jackie Dale Lowe Jr. of Milltown and Michael Lowe of Evansville

Several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and long-time friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Lowe Sr.

Funeral will be 6pm Tuesday, November 24 at McAdams Mortuary. Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 4-6pm the service time Tues at the funeral home.
