Alma (Emmons) Qualkinbush

Alma Jean Qualkinbush, age 84 of French Lick, IN entered into eternal rest on August 13, 2022.
She was born in Shoals, IN on January 3, 1938 to Bert and Essie Emmons.

She is preceded in death by her parents,
(3) Sisters: Louise Harrison, Lois Jones and Ruth Emmons
(3) Brothers: Walter Tan Emmons, Bert Bud Emmons and Norman Emmons

Alma retired from Kimball International. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Springs Valley Wesleyan Church.
Alma was the most kind hearted person with a zest for life.  She loved spending time with family & friends, befriending animals and playing bingo.  Alma fully experienced the beauty that life has to offer and was a blessing to all who knew her. Alma’s faith in the Lord was unwavering and she is rejoicing in heaven.

She is survived by:
(1) Brother Cecil Emmons (Marilyn) of French Lick
(1) Sister Betty Roberts of West Baden
Several nieces and nephews

The funeral for Alma Qualkinbush will be 1 pm Tuesday, August 16 at McAdams Mortuary. Burial will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick. Visitation will be from 11 am-1 pm the service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
