Billy Reed Garloch

Billy Reed Garloch, 91, of Paoli passed away December 25 at his home. He was born December 12, 1929 to parents, Harry Reed & Nora (Horton) Garloch. He married Elsie Eva Shofield on December 25, 1953. Billy is a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a retired sheet metal worker at Carpenter Body Works formerly of Mitchell. He was a member of Concord Church and attended Valeene Wesleyan Church. Billy enjoyed sales of any kind and selling anything. He looked forward to planting his garden and spending time with his family. His sense of humor and lighthearted nature won't soon be forgotten by all those who knew and loved him.

Survivors include:

Daughters- Wanda Sue Robbins of Paoli & Eva McAdams (Harvey) of Paoli

Son- Mike Garloch (Lola) of Lanesville

Grandchildren- Joshua Russell & Mariah Todd both of Bedford, Amos McAdams, Delilah McAdams & Hannah McAdams all of Paoli; Brooks Garloch of Corydon and Dustin Garloch of Lanesville

Best Friend- Gail Ash of Munford, TN

He is preceded in death by, parents, wife, brother- Edward Lee Garloch & Son-n-law Kenny Robbins.

Visitation will be from 4-7pm Wednesday December 30 at McAdams Mortuary & Thursday from 10am-1pm the service time. Funeral will be 1pm Thursday, December 31 at the funeral home. Bro. David Manship and Rev. Carol Heinz will officiate. Burial will be in Paoli Community Cemetery.  McAdams Mortuary is following CDC guidelines regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. Attendance will be limited to 25 guests at a time. Guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing (6 ft). If you are showing symptoms of illness (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea) please do not attend.
