Carrie Andrews LaGarde, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on November 2, 2024, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born on April 27, 1962, in Corpus Christie, TX.
Carrie was a retired social therapist at Southern Hills Counseling Center in Paoli, where her compassion touched the lives of countless individuals. She was a member of the Ellettsville House of Prayer and a woman of many passions, Carrie loved traveling and cooking and baking for her loved ones. She loved to collect frogs and go to yard sales, always in search of hidden treasures. But above all, Carrie loved her family and found their presence to be her greatest joy.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Robert LaGarde of Solsberry, her mother, Kay Faller of San Antonio, TX and her cherished daughters, Monica Jorgensen (Derick) of Greencastle, Felicia Hole (Adam) of Paoli, and Jessica Cababie (Matt) of Ellettsville, as well as her son, Scott LaGarde (Erica) of Ellettsville. Carrie’s legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren: Delaney Jorgensen, Dane Jorgensen, Marcus Hole, Anthony Hole, Brayden LaGarde, Savannah LaGarde, Aidyn LaGarde, Haydi Cababie, Damien Cababie, Colton LaGarde, and Adelyn LaGarde, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
She is also survived by her sisters: Peggy Aldrich (Robert) of Lumberton, TX, Cathy Lopez (Jesse) of San Antonio, TX, and Cheryl Faller of Lenoir City, TN, her step-mother Martha Faller of Coatesville, her step-sisters Tami Mobley (Scott Crawford) of Greencastle, and Jenny Morris (Ben) of New Ross.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Charles Faller, her first husband, Nelson "Eddie" Andrews, and her son, BJ LaGarde.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Carrie's life during a visitation on November 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at McAdams Mortuary.
