When God in His infinite wisdom sees fit to take one His children from our midst, it causes inward pain and sorrow that only those nearest to the loved one can explain. But He knowest best and all we can say is, "Lord, thy will be done". Today we mourn with those whose hearts are heaviest with grief. Because the Grim Reaper has entered our midst, and another family circle has been broken. While the earthly circle is broken, a new circle has begun around the Great White Throne and will be completed someday. 

Today we say goodbye to a sweet, loving, strong-as-nails Lady, and BEST MOTHER EVER! Connie Jo (Crockett) Hoggatt. Born into this world October 4, 1947 to John H. Crockett and Anna Lee (Apple) Crockett of Orange County, IN - both preceding her in death. Also preceding is her nephew, Trevor Crockett of Salem, IN.

Surviving her are three daughters: Mischeal (and Kevin) Williams of Bloomington, IN., Dottie Jarvis of Bedford, IN., and Amanda (and David) Samsil of Orleans, IN. Five grandchildren: Liberty Williams and Landon Williams, Kaitlyn Martin, Levi (and Jess) Martin, and Emma Samsil. One great-grandchild, Dras Martin. A brother Kerry B. (and Lolita) Crockett of Salem, IN, and sister Lenita K. (and Charles) Mills of Illinois. A niece Tiffany (and Ben) Martin of Salem, IN., nephew Brad (and Andrea) Mills of Illinois, and a great niece and great nephew Kayla Mills and Taylor Mills. 

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Thursday, June 6 at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be 1 pm Friday, June 7 at the funeral home and there will be visitation after 11 am until the service time.
