Ernest Carol Keller

Ernest Carol Keller, 103, of Salem, passed away July 14 at his home. He was born December 7, 1919 in Monroe County to parents, John W. & Cora Elizabeth (Hendricks) Keller. He married Mary Webb Keller on December 11, 1943 and she preceded him in death on October 28, 2006. Ernest married Clesta Hawbaker on July 8, 2010, and she survives. Ernest was a World War II Veteran, a self-employed farmer & was a member secretary/treasurer of Campbellsburg Coon Hunter Club.

Wife- Clesta Keller of Salem

Daughters- Kay Schooling of Bloomington & Ashley Keller of Louisville

Sons- Robert Keller & Calvin Keller both of Campbellsburg, Shane Keller of Palmyra & Randy Keller of Corydon

Brother- Fred Keller (Rose) of Bloomington

Ernest was preceded in death by- his parents, 1st wife, daughter- Connie Marie Hurst, granddaughter- Anita Rose Hurst, sisters- Ruth Bruner, Ruby Perkins, Dorothy Prow & Betty Sanders; brothers- Wendell, Robert, John E. & Elmer Keller.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday, July 19 at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be 11 am Thursday, July 20 at the funeral home. Bro. Ottis Crowder & Wayne Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Stampers Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Millersburg General Baptist Church 83 S County Road 650 E, Paoli, Indiana 47454.
