Ethel Marie (Richardson) Nelson

Ethel Marie Nelson, age 80, passed away on December 24 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. She was born April 20, 1941 in Marengo, Indiana to parents Hughes Richardson & Ruby (Vanlaningham) Richardson. Ethel married Melvin Nelson September 5, 1962. She was retired from the Family Resource Center located in Paoli. She was a member of the Higher Ground United Pentecostal Church in French Lick.

Daughter: Phyllis (Mike) Hill of Orleans

Son: Dennis (Lisa) Nelson of Knoxville, Tennessee

Sisters: Mary Knight of Birdseye, Linda (Kenny) Ivey of Bedford, & Wilma Kay (Loy) Stotts

Brother: Calvin (Joann) Richardson of Marengo

Grandchildren: Brad Hill of Pekin, Illinois, Ian (Amber) Hill of West Baden, & Tyler (Mary) Nelson of Knoxville, Tennessee

2 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great Step Grandchildren

Ethel was preceded in death by husband, sister: Wanda Warren, Brothers: Charles, Raymond, & Clarence Richardson

Visitation for Ethel Marie Nelson will be Thursday. December 30, from 10am-1pm funeral service time at Higher Ground United Pentecostal Church in French Lick. Pastor Brian Harrison will officiate.
