Frances L. (Larimore) Free

Frances L. Free, age 97, of Valeene, passed away on December 25, 2023, at Todd Dickey Nursing Home of Leavenworth. Born on May 26, 1926, in Bluff Boom, KY she was the daughter of Delmer and Lottie (Wright) Larimore. She first married Glenn C. Biggs Sr. on December 21, 1946, who preceded her in death in 1961. Later, she married Charles L. "Jack" Free on January 11, 1963, who preceded her in death in May 1996. Frances, a dedicated homemaker, was also a member of the Valeene Christian Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Glenn C. Biggs Jr.(Donna) of Alexandria, and Jerry D. Free of Valeene. She leaves behind grandchildren Jim Biggs, Tracy Biggs, Michael Biggs, Liz Smith, AJ Free, and several great and great-great-grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Bernice Bennett of Floyds Knobs and Rachel Hamman of Paoli.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers Morris and Edward Larimore, sister Elda Allen, daughter Janet McCoy, and daughter-in-law Rebecca Free.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, from 10 AM until 1 PM at McAdams Mortuary, with the funeral following at 1 PM. Brother Harvey McAdams will officiate, and the burial will take place in Valeene Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Valeene Cemetery Fund 8400 S. Co. Rd. 325 E.
