Gary Lynn Kerby

Gary Lynn Kerby, age 74 of West Baden Springs passed away on March 8, 2025 at IU Health Paoli Hospital. He was born March 4, 1951 in French Lick to parents, Forest and Gladys (Wilson) Kerby. He married Connie Thomas on October 20, 1978. He was a 1969 graduate of Springs Valley High School & graduated from Indiana University in 1973. Gary worked part-time at the Donald Ross Golf course of French Lick but he retired from Valspar. He had previously worked as a forman for Kimball’s and Wood Design formerly of French Lick and Cornwell & Co. formerly of Paoli. He was a member of Ames Chapel United Methodist Church and lot caretaker for Ames Chapel Cemetery Association.

Wife Connie Kerby- West Baden

Daughter Gennifer Willis (Jeremy) of Booneville

Son- Dr. Christopher Kerby (Heather) of Kokomo

Siblings- Mike Kerby (Lisa), Carlton Kerby (Rhonda) of West Baden Springs and Patricia Kerby of French Lick

Grandchildren- Cash, Kendal and Cole Willis of Booneville and Garrett and Graydon Kerby of Kokomo

Several nieces and nephews

Visitation for Gary Kerby will be from 4-7pm Thursday, March 13 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 11am Friday, March 14 at the funeral home. Bro. Doug Finney and Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate. Burial will follow in Ames Chapel Cemetery.
