Glenda Daugherty

Glenda Daugherty, age 63 of Hardinsburg, passed away May 30, 2024 at her home. She was born November 6, 1960 in Paoli to parents Frank Gardner & Carol (Morgan) Gardner. Glenda married the love of her life, Denny Daugherty on February 24, 1984. She was a retired employee of Sylvan Learning Corp. of Baltimore, MD for 36 years. She was also president of the Washington County Humane Society for 24 years. She worked along with other determined members, most of whom have been there for many years, and were able to complete a new animal shelter in Salem.

Husband - Denny Daugherty of Hardinsburg
Several cousins, nieces, & nephews
Cousins whom were like siblings - Karen Hudleson & David Colglazier
Her very beloved dog Gordon

The visitation for Glenda Daugherty will be Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 4-7 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 11 am. Bro. Phil McDonald will officiate. Burial will be Syria Church Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
