Janelle Irene (Duke) Switzer

Janelle Irene Switzer, age 83 of Paoli, passed away March 7, 2024 in the loving care of Paoli Health and Living Community. She was born on June 3, 1940 in Epsom, IN   to parents Harry Austin & Juanita Lucille (Wilson) Duke. On January 20, 1959 Janelle married James R. Switzer who then preceded her in death on February 14, 2013. She was a retired Caregiver and a member of the Eastern Star Newton Stewart Lodge Chapter 249. She enjoyed Daytime television  & News shows but most important to her was spending time with her family.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Elizabeth Harper of Paoli

Son: James H. Switzer of Fredericksburg

Brothers: Donald W. Duke of Wesley Chapel, FL & Rev. Kenneth R. Duke of Mooresville, IN

Grandchildren: Amy Lomax of Paoli & Samuel James Switzer of Palmyra

Great Grandchildren: Ashlynn & Kaylynn Larimore

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and  son-n-law- Dennis Harper.

Close friends and family are invited to attend the visitation for Janelle Irene Switzer will be held on March 8, 2024, from 11 am-1 pm at McAdams Mortuary.
