Kenneth Glenn McKim

Kenneth Glenn McKim, age 95 of Paoli, passed away on January 12, 2025, at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. He was born on May 6, 1929, in Taswell to William T. & Anna Sturgeon McKim. Kenneth married Alma Sturgis McKim on October 30, 1948, who preceded him in death on September 23, 1986. He married Earlene Little in 1988 who preceded him in death in 2000. He later married Rose Merritt Murphy on October 30, 2001 and she survives. He was a member of the Paoli Wesleyan Church and attended Highfill Chapel Church in Taswell. He retired after 40 years from PTC Linkbelt of Indianapolis. He loved cutting wood and being outdoors. 

Survivors include his Wife, Rose McKim, of Paoli; daughters, Donna McGill (Doug) of Indianapolis, Connie Houchins (Jon) of Taswell; Cinamon Gehl (Larry "Pete") of Paoli; Delilah Mills (Brandon) of Paoli; son, Tony Murphy (Tonya) of Paoli; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his sons - Glenn Lee McKim & Kenneth Ray McKim, brothers - Kemmel McKim, Charles Atkins, Gido Atkins, William Atkins, sisters - Clois Hollen, Lois Atkins, Ruby Patton, Lois Enlow, Frances Sturgeon, & Anmae Snider

The visitation for Kenneth Glenn McKim will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025  from 4 pm - 7 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 1 pm at the funeral home. Rev. Harold Bayer, Lyndel Manship, & Cody Scott will officiate. The burial will be in the Highfill Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
