Lorraine "Renie" (Phillips) Marshall Hounshell

Lorraine "Renie" Marshall Hounshell passed away November 16, 2023 at her home in Mississippi. She was born November 25, 1935 in Paoli to parents Quilla & Agnes (Cardinal) Phillips. She first married Marvin Marshall on February 6, 1953 who passed away June 19, 1993. She then married Carl Hounshell on November 8, 2009. Lorraine was a retired cook for Paoli Jr. Sr. High School, she also worked the ticket gate for the Paoli boys basketball games. She was formerly a member of Paoli Church of Christ and was the custodian there for several years. She was also formerly a member of the Pride of Paoli Band Boosters. She was also a member of Independence Church of Christ of Coldwater, MS.

Husband- Carl Hounshell of Hernando, MS

Daughter- Vickie Breeden (Bob) of Paoli

Sons- Anthony Marshall of Spencer & Brandon Marshall of Franklin, KY

Grandchildren- Carrie Stapleton (Darrin) of Ramer, TN; Heather Robertson (Jeremy) of Bedford; Amanda Fahey (Sean) of Paoli; Hannah Marshall, Isaac Marshall & Isabel Marshall all of Franklin, KY

Great- Grandchildren- Jacob Stapleton & Alana Stapleton both of Ramer, TN; Marshall Fahey & Remi Fahey  both of Paoli & Maycie Robertson & Mia Robertson of Bedford

Preceded in death by siblings- Mary Patton, Leatha Thacker, Maggie Wernke, James Phillips & Glen Phillips.

Visitation will be from 4-7pm, Monday November 20 at Paoli Church of Christ. Funeral will be 1pm Tuesday, November 21 at the church. Friends may call after 10am on Tuesday. Bro. Lee Collins and  Bro.
