Mamie Haggard, 91, of French Lick, passed away on August 18, 2024, at Spring Valley Meadows in French Lick. Born to Ottis and Lourene (Ward) Luttrull, Mamie was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who lived a life full of love, faith, and adventure.

Mamie married Earl Haggard, on February 14, 1953. Their marriage spanned 54 years until Earl's passing in 2007. Mamie’s love for the Lord was evident in everything she did, from holding Bible studies at her home to teaching Sunday school.

Before becoming a mother, Mamie worked as a dental assistant. She was a member of Sulphur Creek Church and served as the past president of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary in French Lick.

 Mamie is survived by her daughter- Priscilla Butrum (Dickie) of Leavenworth, son Andrew Haggard (Michelle) of French Lick, sister Martha Bechtel of Noblesville. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl, and her two sons, Steve Haggard and Douglas Haggard.

Services will be held on Friday, August 23, at McAdams Mortuary. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral at 1:00 PM, officiated by Bro. Harvey McAdams. Burial will follow at Augusta Cemetery in Winslow.
