Marlene L (Brown) Conner

Marlene L. Conner, 88, of Paoli,  passed away on November 8 at Paoli Health & Living Community. She was born March 29, 1934, to parents Raymon M. & Cora G. (Bucher) Brown. Marlene married John M. Conner on February 1, 1955, who preceded her in death on June 15, 2000. She was a member of the Lick Creek Homemakers Club, French Lick Chapter 249 Order of the Eastern Star and she was of the Baptist faith. Marlene formerly worked at Travelers and RCA. She also worked several years in elderly care for Hoosier Uplands & Older Americans. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, planting flowers, eating Chinese food, traveling, reading, and making doll clothes.

Daughters: Debra Woolston of Paoli & Kathryn (Kate) Henderson of Paoli

Sister: Linda McCann of Manhattan, KS

Grandchildren: Kyle Woolston and wife, Amy of Paoli & Laura Harrison and husband, Ryan of  Gosport

Great Grandchildren: Hannah & Cooper Woolston of Paoli, & Atalaya Harrison of Gosport

Several nieces and nephews

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother - Kenneth Brown, grandson - Billy Woolston, & son-n-law - Johnny Henderson.

The visitation for Marlene L. Conner will be Friday, November 11 from 2 - 5:30 pm at McAdams Mortuary. There will be an Eastern Star Service at 5:30 pm and the funeral will follow at 6 pm. Rev. Dr. Steven L. Gorman will officiate. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Dubois County Humane Society, 426 Wernsing Rd, Jasper, IN, United States, Indiana 47546, or to a charity of your choice in Marlene's memory.
