Mary Opal Denton

Mary Opal Denton, age 92 of Paoli, passed away on March 7, 2025 at Paoli Health and Living Community. She was born on May 21, 1932 in Paoli to parents Willis & Lizzie Alice (Smith) Spear. She married William L. Denton on May 26, 1984. Mary Opal was a member of the Paoli Church of Christ. She worked several years at Cornwells, but retired from Child Craft Industries of Salem. She enjoyed word searches, watching birds, crafting, and scrapbooking.

Step Daughter- Vickie Snider (Jerry)

Step-grandson - Scott Snider

Sister-in-laws- Rebecca Wilson & Jane Hobbs

Nieces & Nephews - Janet Keehn, Diana Shipman, Heather Baker, Larry Spear, & Gary Joe Spear

Several great nieces &  great nephews

Mary Opal is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers- Ancil & Charles Spear and sister-in-laws- Norma Jean, Mary Frances and Sharon Spear and Helen Smith.

Visitation will be Monday March 10 from 5-7pm at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be Tuesday, March 11 at 2pm at the funeral home. Visitation will be after 11 am Tuesday until the service time. Bro.
