Merrill Lee McKeighen

Merrill "Butch" Lee McKeighen, age 78 of Paoli, passed away October 29, 2024 at the V. A. Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on September 20, 1946 in Paoli to parents James McKeighen & Mary (Payton) McKeighen. Merrill married Rebecca Satterfield on September 12, 2002. He was a United States Army Vietnam War & National Guard Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 69 of Orleans. Merrill was retired from Patton Motors Ford Garage formerly of Orleans. He enjoyed fishing, and hunting, and loved feeding wildlife in his backyard.

Wife - Rebecca Satterfield-McKeighen of Paoli

Daughters - Kimberly Ainsworth of North Carolina, Beverly Nelson (Larry) of Shoals, & Lisa Ledgerwood of French Lick

Son - James McKeighen of Paoli

Brothers - Mark McKeighen of Orleans & Tony McKeighen (Sonya) of Paoli

8 grandchildren & Several great-grandchildren

Merrill was preceded in death by his parents

Merille McKeighen's visitation will be on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Bro.
