Sandra Mae Eickelberger

Sandra Mae Eickelberger, age 83 of French Lick, passed away on January 6, 2025 at her home. She was born in Indianapolis on January 23, 1941 to Murel McCracken & Beryl McCullough McCracken. Sandra married Michael Eickelberger on July 5, 1990. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, sewing, tole painting, woodworking, and crocheting. She was most remembered for her infectious laugh. Sandra was a member of the Living Waters Assembly of God in French Lick. 

Survivors include her husband - Michael Eickelberger of French Lick, daughters - Diana Denton (Will) of St. Anthony, Brenda DeLaPaz (Ferdinand) of Long Beach, CA, Gail Fischer (Rodney) of Santa Claus, Sherry Smith (Noah Kopp) of Lake Mills, WI, & Audrey Eickelberger of French Lick, sons - Darryl Schepers of Jasper & Mike Schepers of Winslow, sisters - Nancy Davisson (Roger) of French Lick, brothers - Robert McCracken of West Baden, Frank McCracken (Tammy) of West Baden, & Jeff Hobson of Paoli, several grandchildren & great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her sister - Carol Lewis, brothers- John, Jimmy, and Grover McCracken, and grandson- Joshua Laymon

Cremation was chosen for Sandra Eickelberger with a memorial service to be Saturday, February 1 at 12 noon at Living Waters Assembly of God of French Lick. Friends may call at the church after 11am and officiating will be Bro. Larry Grow.
