Susie Jane (Mattox) Roach

Susie Jane Roach, 81, of Paoli, passed away December 31, 2021 at her home. She was born December 19, 1940 in Shoals to parents, James V. & Irene (Gammon) Mattox. She married Edmond Roach in 1960. Susie retired from Paoli High School Cafeteria after working there for over 21 years. She attended New Hope Christian Church.

Survivors include:

Son- Eddie Roach of Paoli

Granddaughters- Amanda Roach Bloomer (Bart) of Corydon & Chelsea Roach of French Lick

Sisters- Mary Ann Graves of Mitchell & Virginia Rae Chaplin of West Baden

Brothers- George Mattox of Orleans and Jim Mattox of Albany, KY

Susie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Son- Aaron Roach, sisters- Roma Troxel, Freida Troxel & Etta Tuell.

Visitation for Susie Roach will be from 11am-1pm Tuesday, January 4 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Scott McGowen will officiate. Burial will be in Paoli Community Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com.
