Wayne E Laswell

Wayne E. Laswell, 87, of Paoli, passed away on September 25, 2023 at his home. He was born on July 18, 1936, in English, IN to parents Logan Henry Laswell & Grace (Riat) Laswell. He married Shirley Tucker on January 5, 1959, and she preceded him in death on December 13, 2019. Wayne was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was retired from Paoli Chair Factory (Paoli Inc.) and was a member of the Valeene Wesleyan Church. He loved gardening, taking care of his yard and flowers, splitting wood, fishing, hunting, and sitting in his swing under his Beech tree. Wayne enjoyed his daily exercises (80+ push-ups), dining out with friends and family, and loved his church family.

Daughter: Peggy Campbell (Ronnie) of Paoli

Son: David Laswell (Lora) of Paoli

Grandchildren: Jeremiah Campbell (Calah) of Paoli, Travis Campbell (Teresa) of Hardinsburg, Logan Laswell of Paoli, McKinzie Laswell of Paoli

Great Grandchildren: Ashlyn, Lola, Lynkon, Madison, & Emmett Campbell

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sisters: Anzel Glee Smith, Olive Mae Eaton, Carrie Faulkenburg, Beulah Lorraine Blevins, Lucella Darnell Mahoney; Brothers: Infant Laswell, John Henry, Leonard Noah, Ray Bernard, Charles Edward, Lester Carl, Novy Leon Laswell.

The visitation for Wayne E. Laswell will be Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 4-8 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11am at the funeral home. Bro.
