William "Bill" A. Nevill

William "Bill" A. Nevill, 68, of Hardinsburg, passed away on August 11, 2024, at Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation in Salem. Born on November 22, 1955, in Madison, he was the son of Jo Ann (Chilton) and the late Vernon J. Nevill.

Bill married Theresa Reynolds on October 18, 2003, and they shared many wonderful years. He retired from Sam Myers Dry Cleaning of Louisville. He served as a beloved minister at Kays Chapel Church in Fredericksburg. Bill's devotion to his faith was unwavering, and he took his role as a shepherd to his congregation seriously. 

In his free time, Bill enjoyed fishing and nature, collecting Santa Claus’, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. 

He is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Nevill of Hardinsburg; his wife, Theresa Nevill of Hardinsburg; his children, Kyle William Nevill (Christina) of Hardinsburg, Kelley Dawn (Nevill) Reynolds (David), and Kim (Nevill) Unterreiner (Brett) both of South Carolina; and bonus children Kim Fletcher and Chris Hopper (Jenny), all of Orleans. Also cherished grandchildren- Brody, Addy and Cora (Kim), Mya (Kelley), Case & Maverick (Chris), Jeri & Jennifer (Kyle), Ava & Ingrid (Kim). 

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Vernon J. Nevill, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation for Bill will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at Kays Chapel Church. Burial will take place in the Kays Chapel Cemetery, with David Ledger officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to:
