Harlan Burkett Epperson, 90 of Hardinsburg passed away on June 1, 2023, at his home. He was born December 5, 1932 in Greenfield to parents, Louis Epperson & Gladys Snick. He married Betty Apple on April 12, 1953. Harlan was married to Betty for 62 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a postal worker, and a tree trimmer. Harlan loved all of his family very much. He did so much for every one of his family members. He was so very loving, caring, kind, and funny. Harlan loved his Hershey's, Pepsi, puffs, game shows, and playing pool! He loved being outdoors and working outside. He loved his property and worked hard to take care of it.
Harlan was a member of the Mitchell congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He worked very hard through the years on many Kingdom Hall projects.

Children: Patty (Mike) Talcott, Jim Epperson, Sandy Crowe, David (Tonya) Epperson
Grandchildren: Jackie (Andy) Gleitz, Carolyn Epperson, Andrew (Jacqueline) Epperson, Amie (Nison) Migrova, Josiah (Kourtney) Epperson, Gilbert Epperson, Sierra Crowe, Azzie (Delyan) Kostova & Elijah (Sarah) Talcott.
Great-grandchildren: Eli Gleitz, Jaxon Gleitz, Ashton Epperson
Sisters: Ann & Marty
Harlan is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Epperson, parents, brothers & sister.
