Kenneth Burton

Kenneth Burton, 96, of Bedford died Sept. 9, 2021. He was born Oct 29,1924 in French Lick to Harry C and Laura (Carnes) Burton.

He was a long time member and board member of Faith Mission Church.

He married Ferne (Hallaway) March 31, 1944 and they were married 61 years until her death Aug. 31, 2005.

Then he married Louise Speer, June 5, 2007 and she survives.

He is also survived by one son Tony of Mitchell, one daughter Sharon Justice (Ray), one granddaughter Tammy Carpenter (Jerry) of Frankfort. Also one great granddaughter,  Jennifer

Riccius and one great great granddaughter. Step son, Randall Speer ( Carolyn ) of Bedford, Janet Matlock (Dr. Carl) of Mitchell, Charlotte Matlock (Joe) of Columbia Ky. Several

grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Carl & Howard two sisters, Margie Henderson and Lois Burton.

The service will be at Faith Mission Church at noon on Tuesday, September 14 with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Leonard Sankey, Rev. Steven Hight, and Rev. Aaron Wardlow will

officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick Indiana. Memorial donations may be made to Stone City Christian Academy c/o Faith Mission Church, 1817  26th Street,
